Instructions
In a large pot, heat olive oil.
Brown the meat in batches, 5 minutes on each side.
Remove the meat and set aside.
Add onion, garlic, and red bell pepper.
Stir for 5 minutes.
Pour in tomato sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
Pour in the broth, add the meat and simmer on medium-low heat.
Cook for 1 hour till all the meat is tender.
Add more water as necessary.
Notes
This recipe serves 8 and contains 2 net carbs per serving.
Be sure to brown the meats in batches, and don't overcrowd the pot.
If you like spicy food, add more cayenne pepper or black pepper.
Add your favorite chopped vegetables like spinach or cabbage for a nice variation.
