Keto Candy-1

❤️ Why you'll love it

Keto candy is one of those treats you’ll keep coming back to. It’s got the perfect mix of chocolate, crunch, and creaminess without the sugar crash. No weird ingredients, just simple stuff that actually tastes good.

Plus, it’s super easy to make, so whenever a craving hits, you’re covered. It's way better than store-bought candy with all the carbs and additives!

Keto Candy - Ingredients
  • Sugar-Free Chocolate Chips: These form the rich and chocolatey base for our candy.
  • Nut or Seed Butter: A creamy addition that also brings healthy fats. Any kind works, so just use what you have.
  • Coconut Oil: Helps everything mix smoothly and gives a soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture.
  • Nuts and Seeds: I use a mix of pecans, almonds, sunflower seeds, and peanuts to add a mix of crunch and flavor.

🔪 How To Make Keto Candy

  1. Line an 8x8 dish with parchment paper, setting it aside. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate chips, nut butter, and coconut oil until you have a smooth mixture.
  2. Stir in the pecans, almonds, sunflower seeds, and peanuts until they are fully coated with the chocolate mixture. Reserve a pinch of the nuts and seeds for sprinkling on top if desired.
  3. Transfer the chocolate mixture to the lined dish and smooth the top so the bars have an even thickness. Sprinkle the remaining nuts and seeds on top if desired.
  4. Chill the mixture in the fridge for at least 3 hours before slicing into bars. Store your keto candy in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Steps on how to make Keto Candy

🥫 Storing and Reheating

Your keto candy bars can be stored in the refrigerator or in an airtight container for several days. Before enjoying, you can let them sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly if needed.

To store this keto snack for longer, keep them in the freezer for up to a few months.

💭 Helpful Tips

  • You can with different nut or seed butters to create unique flavor profiles.
  • If you only have whole nuts on hand, save time by throwing them in a sandwich bag, zipping it tightly, and crushing them with a rolling pin or heavy pan. From here, you can easily use them in this recipe.
  • If you prefer a sweeter treat, add a keto-friendly or natural sweetener to the chocolate mixture. Monk fruit sweetener is a great option.
  • For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a pinch of sea salt to the top of your bars.
  • Drizzle the keto candy with sugar-free caramel sauce for a twist.

💭 Recipe Variations

  • Dust with cocoa powder before refrigerating for even more flavor depth.
  • Add a few drops of peppermint extract to replicate the flavor of keto peppermint patties.
  • Use sugar-free dark chocolate or milk chocolate instead of chocolate chips.
  • You can also use sugar-free white chocolate (if you like white chocolate!).
  • Add sugar-free sprinkles on top of the candy before refrigerating for a pop of fun color.
  • Wrap up these candies with some beautiful cellophane and ribbon. These keto candy packs make excellent holiday gifts or stocking stuffers around this time of the year.
  • Leave out the chopped nuts, and instead, only use peanut butter. Put the melted mixture into a muffin tin and refrigerate for keto peanut butter cups!
  • Add a teaspoon of vanilla to the melted candy mixture to enhance the other flavors.
