    ❤️ Why You'll Love It

Cajun butter is an easy spicy butter that you can make at home in just a few minutes. No fancy equipment or special kitchen tools are needed. You can easily adjust the spice levels to fit your preference. You can make it ahead of time and either store it in the fridge or freeze it for later use.

One of the best ways to use Cajun butter is to flavor your meats, like your Thanksgiving turkey. You can make Cajun turkey by spreading the spicy butter on and under the skin of the meat. As the turkey roasts, the butter will help give the turkey an extra kick of flavor and help it brown the skin.

You can also use this easy spicy butter to flavor your favorite steaks, chicken, vegetables, and more. It's that versatile!

    • Double or triple the recipe so that you have some Cajun butter on hand when you want to add some last-minute flavor to your dishes.

    👩‍🍳 Frequently asked questions

    What is Cajun butter?

Cajun butter is a combination of butter, cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and herbs. It is commonly used to flavor meat dishes.

Is this the same as Cajun butter sauce?

No. Cajun butter sauce uses melted butter. You can easily adapt this recipe to make Cajun butter sauce though. Just melt the butter on the stove, add the ingredients, and stir until it's well combined for about a minute.

What if my spicy butter is too spicy?

If you find that the Cajun butter is too spicy for your liking, you can add extra softened butter. This is the easiest route. Start by adding a small amount of softened butter and tasting it until you get your preferred spice level.

Can I make this ahead of time?

Yes! You can make the spicy butter ahead of time and either store it in the fridge for a few days or freeze it for a few months.
