    🧾 Ingredients Used

    ingredients to make keto flatbread
    • Almond Flour: Almond flour makes a great swap for wheat flour if you're going low-carb.
    • Baking Powder: This helps this almond flour flatbread puff up and gives it a nice, light texture.
    • Spices: I use garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, and some salt.
    • Fresh Herbs: Fresh basil and rosemary add flavor that blends well with the spices in this keto bread.
    • Cheese: I use mozzarella cheese and cream cheese to add moisture and give the flatbread a nice texture.
    • Egg: An egg keeps everything together, making the dough smooth and easy to handle.
    • Butter: To make the garlic butter sauce.

🔪 How To Make Keto Flatbread

    1. Start by preheating your oven to 350F. Line a medium to large baking sheet with parchment paper.
    2. In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, and salt, whisking to ensure even distribution of the ingredients.
    3. Add garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, fresh basil, and rosemary to the almond flour mixture.
    4. In a separate microwave-safe bowl, melt shredded mozzarella cheese and cream cheese together in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until fully melted and well combined.
    5. Add the melted cheese mixture and egg to the dry ingredients, stirring until a uniform dough forms.
    6. Using a rubber spatula, transfer the dough to the prepared baking sheet and press it out into a thin, flat shape.
    7. Bake the flatbread for approximately 12-15 minutes or until it turns a light golden brown and is cooked through.
    8. Allow the flatbread to cool for a few minutes before slicing or serving for best results.

    🥫 Storing and Reheating

To maintain its texture, store any leftover flatbread in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Feel free to place the flatbread in a freezer bag and stick it in the freezer to use however much you need at a time.

To reheat, bake it in the oven at a low temperature for a few minutes. You can also microwave for 10-15 seconds.
